President Trump: Christians Can’t Support Joe Biden Because He’s Radically Pro-Abortion

In a new interview, President Donald Trump said what so many pro-life Americans are thinking these days: No Christian can support Joe Biden when he’s been radically pro-abortion.

Trump wondered how any Christians can support Biden given his extensive pro-abortion record and actions against Christian Americans. Here’s more:

Trump revealed in an interview with CBN News that he has a lot of concerns against Biden who is exactly his opposite when it comes to being pro-life despite describing himself as a “Devout Catholic.” Trump particularly cited Biden’s policies that are negatively affecting organized religion.

“If you look at his policies, and if you look at what he’s doing to religion, and organized religion, if you look at what’s going on, I don’t know how the Catholic Church can be supportive of him,” Trump said.

Trump said he’s surprised that some Catholics voted for Biden during the 2020 presidential election even knowing he would promote abortion if elected.

“Now I got, I guess, 50 or 52 percent of the Catholic vote and I was very disappointed by that. I said, there’s no way. Evangelicals great, but they got it, they really got it. But the Catholics are very angry, very angry at him,” Trump told CBN News.

The former president didn’t say whether he would run again in 2024:

Asked what would make him not run for the presidency in 2024, Trump cited that a possible scenario would be having a “bad call” from a doctor.

“I guess a bad call from a doctor or something, right? You get that call and say, ‘sir, how you doing? Come on down here and see us because we got a bad report, right?’,” Trump disclosed.

Trump clarified right after the “bad call” comment, however, that he currently feels “so good” but hates what’s currently happening to America. He then emphasized that things happen “through” God.

“So things happen through God, they happen, but I feel so good and I hate what’s happening to our country,” he stressed.

Earlier this month, Biden finally put to rest any question about whether he’s a “faithful” Catholic.

During a brief question and answer period following a statement to the media today, Biden made it clear that he does “not agree” with the scientific fact that human life begins at conception. That puts him completely out of step with Biblical principles and the pro-life teachings of the Catholic Church that the lives of human beings begin at conception.

“I have been— continue to be a strong supporter of Roe V. Wade. I respect people who don’t support Roe v. Wade. I respect their views. I respect those who believe life begins at the moment of conception and all, I respect that, I don’t agree, but I respect that, not going to impose that on people,” Biden said.

Scientists agree that human life begins at conception and a recent study proved that to be true.

Biden’s comments are a marked contrast to what he said in 2015, when he stated: “I’m prepared to accept that the moment of conception is a human life and being.”

The abortion activist also expanded on the campaign he launched to come up with a pro-abortion federal government solution to the Texas abortion ban, which could involve some sort of legal challenge to the pro-life law or a scheme to transport abortion customers to other states to kill their babies.

Though Biden professes to be a devout Catholic, he openly defies church teachings about the sanctity of human life. After just 100 days in office, he already surpassed President Barack Obama as the most pro-abortion president in U.S. history.

Recently, his administration stopped enforcing safety regulations that protect mothers and unborn babies from dangerous abortion drugs. Now abortion drugs are being sold by mail without a woman ever having to see a doctor in person.

Biden’s 2021 budget plan also would expand abortions by eliminating the Hyde Amendment for the first time in more than 40 years. Without the amendment, Americans would be forced to directly fund the killing of unborn babies in abortions through Medicaid and other federal programs. The amendment is credited with saving about 2.4 million unborn babies from abortion.

The Biden/Harris Administration’s extreme pro-abortion actions include:

  • An Executive Order issued January 28th repealing the pro-life Mexico City Policy that had been reestablished and expanded by the Administration of President Trump.
  • On the same day, President Biden issued an Executive Order that began the process of overturning the Trump Administration’s “Protect Life Rule” on Title X. That rule ensured that Title X family planning money did not flow to abortion providers and that everyone receiving Title X funds would not refer for abortion. In March, HHS announced it will repeal the Protect Life Rule by the end of the year.
  • President Biden signed the $1.9 Trillion Reconciliation Package which includes billions of dollars available for taxpayer-funded abortions.
  • President Biden’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) suspended protections established for women undergoing chemical abortions, such as seeing the abortionist in person. The in-person requirement is vital because it ensures that complications, such as an ectopic pregnancy, are ruled out in advance of a woman undergoing a chemical abortion. Mifepristone, the “abortion pill,” has no impact on an ectopic pregnancy which is a life-threatening medical condition.
  • President Biden nominated California Attorney General Xavier Becerra, who was confirmed by the Senate, to head HHS. Becerra’s support of abortion on demand for any reason and at any time during pregnancy, as well as his campaign against pregnancy help centers, is extensive and well documented.
  • President Biden’s National Institutes of Health (NIH) reversed Trump-era fetal tissue requirements. In its internal research, NIH will again fund research using tissue from aborted babies. It will also no longer convene the Human Fetal Tissue Research Ethics Advisory Board, established under President Trump that was designed to review extramural research grant applications.
  • Though he long supported the Hyde Amendment in the past, as a presidential candidate, President Biden flip-flopped in 2019. President Biden is now on record in support of eliminating the Hyde Amendment which prevents the use of federal funds to pay for abortions except in cases of rape, incest or to save the life of the mother. Named after its original sponsor, pro-life Congressman Henry Hyde, the original amendment was passed in the U.S. House of Representatives in 1976. It was estimated that before the Hyde Amendment took effect, approximately 300,000 abortions were paid for by Medicaid programs each year.
